A little fair warning; this one has a lot of pictures! I tried to keep the number of pictures down but there was a lot to this project! I made a Flower Explosion Box from my Mini Books Cricut cartridge. It took me a good couple of days to get done but I think it turned out pretty well and I think my mom will like it! I made this for my mom's birthday and I decided to make something for her because I know she appreciates all the work that goes into stuff like this and she has so many things that I like making her things with pictures of the kids, I can usually get tears from her with that kind of stuff too. Love you Mom!!!
Without further ado, here is my Flower Explosion Box!
The finished project:
The box opened:
The little Flower Explosion Box I put in the big one, but I'll go into detail on that one later:
The first layer of the big box:
Even if you're not a Twilight fan; you know you love it! ;)
The second layer of the big box:
My cute kids!
The third layer of the big box:
The bottom of the big box:
I chose the Twilight/Fairy theme because my mom loves Twilight & fairies! I admit, I also like them!
Here is the small box I put inside the big one:
Underneath the small box lid:
The key chain I put inside the small box:
I was going to make it a necklace but my mom isn't a necklace person so I decided to switch to the key chain, I think it turned out pretty cool. I'll go into more detail about how I did the key chain further down.

Here's what I used to make the key chain:
For the message in the bottle I just used a piece of brownish paper that I printed the message on and then burned the edges and ended up dipping in water to make it look like an old piece of parchment. I then put a little glitter in the bottle, of course!, then wrapped the paper around a toothpick then put it in the bottle and sealed it back up. I thought it turned out pretty cool!
How the paper originally looked versus my creation:
I added the jewels to the locket with mod podge and I added the pictures of those cute kids. :)
For fun, here are some pics of my boxes before I decorated them:

Here's what I used to make the flower I put on top of the big box:
I made the butterfly on top of the flower with my Everyday Pop-Up Cards cartridge.
There you have it! My Flower Explosion Box! Sorry for so many pictures but a lot went into making it. I hope my mother likes it! We're going to dinner with her tomorrow and I'll give her the Flower Box and the card I made her!
Thanks for at looking at my latest creation!

Princess Mobile
I made this princess mobile for Zoey's princess party this year. I used "Once Upon A Princess" for all of it. It was so fun to make! I just love princess stuff! I'm planning on hanging it in Zoey's room when I get to fixing one of the princess eyes that fell off. :p

My New Blog
I've decided to change the direction of my blog. Turns out I'm not very exciting but I do think I make some pretty cute crafts and I spend way too much time using my Cricut so why not start showing some things off? My blog will now be dedicated to all the crafty type stuff that I so enjoy making. Here is my first creation I have decided to share.
This is a birthday card I made for my mother, took me a whole day to get done!
I used the "Walk in My Garden" cartridge for the card, "Pretty Pennants" for the banner, and "Cricut Alphabet" for the letters. Everything else was just cut from paper I had, ribbon, stickers, and I added lots of glitter!
